This bit of nature is a valuable habitat for all kinds of flora and fauna. The Pelerheide forms a connection to the nearby area known as ‘De Schrieken’.

The role of Kempens Landschap
Our organisation is owner of several parcels in the project area ‘Pelerheide’. In 2003, Kempens Landschap purchased 6 hectares, and in 2004 another 3 hectares were added.
